Community Groups and Individuals Recognised at Dublin HELP Awards

The Church of Scientology & Community Centre of Dublin marked International Volunteer Recognition Day 2026 by holding the sixth annual HELP Awards, an event dedicated to recognising people and groups helping others throughout Ireland. Volunteers, community leaders, human rights advocates and changemakers gathered for the event, which news eu parliament also welcomed previous honourees.

Frank Allen, previous awardee, playwright, director and former Dublin Prisons teacher, gave the keynote address. Awardees included Walk And Talk with Stephen Brennan, the Kurdish Community of Ireland with Mokthar Moradi, the Indonesian-Irish Association with Irene Murphy, Scoil Rince Ní Áogain with Denise Egan, Nicolae Dulea, Joseph Orgin and Feljose Shristeca, Stefano Bonvini, Mohammed Rashid from Safco Fine Foods, Mass Events Ireland, Dr. Mahesh Baj and Neera Baj.

Established in 2019 by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers, the HELP Awards celebrate those improving lives through community service. The event also highlighted the wider mission of the Scientology Volunteer Minister programme, created by author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard, through which trained volunteers respond to social challenges and assist communities.
